One of the real highlights of my trip to Scotland for Hogmanay was our road trip to Glencoe & Glen Etive with my girlfriend Kirsten Alana and fellow bloggers / photographers Laurence Norah and Juno Kim. From Edinburgh, we traveled along the M9, through the A84, A85 and A82 to Glencoe. If you’re doing a similar trip, I highly recommend leaving yourself plenty of time as (if you’re anything like us) you’ll want to get out of the car every five minutes to photograph the beautiful scenery.
I must say that I was completely awestruck by the beauty of the country and of those two areas in particular. It was an indescribable feeling and was inspiring as a photographer. The several days we spent there provided me some of my best days as a young photographer. Needless to say, I left a piece of my heart in Scotland and I can’t wait to go back again.
